Hmm--interesting idea, Katie--what's the advantage of gmail? I like that if someone knows my hotmail they can msn me--same with the yahoo thing, and honestly, I don't know that I'll ever get at all close to the 250 mb mailbox limit. I also have my school district email, my shaw.ca one, another from my university, and a aim.com one, which has one gig of storage with it.
I pretty much hotmail for friends, shaw for family, and school district for colleagues/parents/students.
Still--an "invite" to an exclusive club--"Who keeps back the electric car, who made Steve Gutenberg a star?"
Hands up if you get the reference--one of my favorite songs ever...
i don't have a table hockey board, and YOU aren't posting anything but whining. berk.
d'ye think I could fashion a table hockey table out of plastic cups, paper, and duct tape?
also, you need to get gmail. you really do. and not just because all us cool people have it, but because it's amazing like billy-o and searchable and huuuuuuge and also it is smiley in some indeterminate way.
indeterminate? undefinable? whatever. you get it. maybe I shou wite some letters to the editor.
Yes, Camila--you could. I've posted now, too, and sent you an email. You'll have to find any other procrastination tools yourself. (don't sneak off campus tonight though; my guess is security in that city is extra tight tonight, right?)
Okay--you, Kate and Jatue have convinced me--now I just need one of you insiders to hook me up.
no problem. I think it's better because of the way it's organized (by "conversation", much much easier to use once you get used to it) and because you can search everything. The size isn't really the big draw for me, though it's nice to save everything and not have to delete!
Oh, and there's no "meet singles now" banner ads, or any pic ads at all, just text ads off to the side like on google. And no tags added to your messages either. Those were actually the biggest differences between yahoo and gmail for me. But I guess I don't have to convince you anymore, I already sent the invite (as did like 5 other people too, i'm sure). (:

Because you neeeed a gmail account. It's so much better. I can send you an invite if you're ready to admit that you need to make a change. (;

Hotmail was being wonky for me too earlier. It seems to be fixed now.
